Source before speed
IBV News will combine approved Fiji, Pacific and global sources without presenting scraped rumours, anonymous claims or paid promotions as verified reporting.
Government releases, recognised newsrooms, authorised broadcasters, public agencies and contracted news-data providers.
Country, topic, language and industry feeds with original publisher links, timestamps and correction history.
Breaking, scheduled and event-driven updates pass through source checks, duplicate detection and human escalation rules.
Domain allowlists, malware and phishing checks, provenance labels, report buttons and removal or correction workflows.
The system will label the publisher, original URL, published and updated times, whether IBV independently reviewed it, and whether another reliable source confirms the event. AI may summarise and classify; it must not invent facts or silently rewrite a publisher’s meaning.
